May is Older Americans Month – Let’s Protect Those Who’ve Cared for Us
In honor of Older Americans Month, we are focusing on keeping older adults safe and informed. While older adults make up a smaller percentage of poison-related calls to the Maryland Poison Center, they are more likely to experience serious medical outcomes—including hospitalization and, in some cases, life-threatening complications.
That’s why awareness, prevention, and knowing when to call the Poison Center can make all the difference.
